Art is an expression with lines, colors and shapes, of my lifelong reflections and love. It is my vision of beauty and joy, an exploration of my observations, feelings and hopes through visual means. These are manifest through shapes created with thicks and thins, lights and darks, straights and curves, textures and smooths.

Early years in Barcelona, Paris and Venezuela, life before moving to New York in 1966 are blended into the pigment. The influences of Michael Pellettieri, master printer, Sylvie Germain-Covey, photo etcher and Knox Martin, well-known American painter and my love and admiration for the work of Matisse and Picasso are woven into the canvas.

Ultimately, my art is an invention imbedded in personal sensitivity which reaches out to each individual to receive in his or her own personal way.
